Getting Started with Your Soil Tracking Project
To begin, you’ll need to complete our Soil Tracking Request Form. This form asks for basic project details, which you can easily find in your Soil Management Plan or your Excess Soil Registry entry.
Once you submit the form, we’ll create a custom tracking page for your project. You’ll receive a set of unique links by email that allow you to:
- Monitor soil movements in real time
- Keep records of all incoming and outgoing loads
- Stay organized and compliant with local regulations
After you receive the tracking links, it’s your job to share them with everyone involved in the project, including:
- Source Site Operators (where the soil is coming from)
- Receiving Sites (where the soil is going)
- Contractors, haulers, consultants, or other team members
Sharing these links ensures that everyone stays on the same page and follows the correct soil management procedures.
To help you understand the process, we’ve created a test project you can try out. Click the button below to view the sample request form and follow each step, just like you would on a real project.
